Mobile Eye Clinic
ERWO specailaists visits the areas from where a request has been received by voluntary social welfare workers and screens patients at eye camps. The patients are screened for retinal Degenerations, Retinal Detachment, Age Related Macular Degeneration (ARMD), Macular Hole, Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinoblastoma, Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), Glaucoma, Cataract, Congenital Diseases, Hereditary Diseases, Tumours
ERWO Outpatient Clinic:
In collaboration with the Al-Ain Institute for Eye Diseases in Karachi, ERWO provides free treatment and facilities of accommodation to poor patients. The Al-Ain Institute for Eye Diseases has been dedicated an entire floor to ERWO for outpatient’s clinic.
Retinal patients are brought to ERWO centre and/or to other retina surgeons on the list of ERWO for free treatment. The other patients are referred to the nearest charitable organizations.
Construction of ERWO EYE CENTRE Nawabshah, Sindh
ERWO is constructing a Eye Centre in the district of Nawabshah to cater to poor patients from the surrounding areas. The Centre with deal with cataract & glaucoma, age related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy, refractive errors, choroid retinal diseases, congenital and genetic disorders, autoimmune diseases, trauma and tumours.
