The Publican Alumni Trust (PAT) was established in January 2009 by the alumni of the Public School, Karachi Cantt. The Trust was registered under the leadership of Senator (R) Javed Jabbar as its Founder Chairman.

The PAT is a non-governmental non-profit organization created with the fundamental purpose to mobilize Publicans and Pakistani community locally and across the world to support the cause of education in Pakistan for the underprivileged segment of society.

In its early days, the Trust helped successor schools of Public School by providing scholarships, teachers’ training, computers, and books. Now the Trust is focusing on running its own school, namely “The Publican School”. The school is in Zaman Town, Korangi, Karachi, serving underprivileged children of nearby areas. The Publican School started in 2015 with a small number of students in primary classes only. It has now flourished into a full-fledged secondary school offering classes up to matriculation and accommodating over 450 students.

The school has thrived and grown steadily over the years, and as a result, we have outgrown our current facilities. To continue providing high-quality education and meet the increasing demand from our community, the Trust is embarking on a transformative journey to a new campus with purpose-built school building. This new facility will not only accommodate a larger number of students but also provide state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories, modern amenities, and expanded learning spaces that will foster creativity, innovation, and academic excellence.

The Trust cannot achieve this vision without your generous support to this noble cause in providing a nurturing environment where our students can thrive and reach their full potential. Together, we can create a brighter future for our children and the community. Join us in making this dream a reality and be a part of our school’s journey to excellence.

Publican Alumni Trust has been certified by the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy, for having met and exceeded the required standards in areas of Governance, Financial Management and Program Delivery.

In Pakistan, all donations to PAT are exempted from Income Tax.
