For over 30 years, HELP has been a lifeline for the most vulnerable women and children in Pakistan. HELP operates 11 Maternal and Child Health Centres and a network of community health workers, providing essential medical services from prenatal care to postnatal care. Our centers offer comprehensive healthcare solutions, focusing on both prevention and treatment to nurture a healthier future for generations to come.
2. Access to Clean Water
In remote areas of Sindh, HELP has implemented community-based hand pumps and solar wells, ensuring families have access to safe drinking water and protecting them from waterborne diseases. Access to water is a fundamental right, and HELP is committed to fulfilling this necessity.
3. Emergency Relief and Disaster Recovery
HELP stands at the forefront during crises, building flood-resilient homes and sanitation systems to restore dignity and safety for disaster-affected families. Through sanitation solutions, including toilet installations, we combat open defecation and improve overall hygiene conditions in vulnerable communities.
4. Combating Malnutrition
HELP is dedicated to eradicating malnutrition among adolescent girls, expectant and nursing mothers, and children under five. Our Nutrition Resource Centre serves as a hub of expertise, providing tailored guidance and support. Moreover, HELP pioneered NutriHELP, an innovative nutrition formula developed through our research, which has successfully managed malnourished children under five.
