Karachi Vocational Training Centre (KVTC) stands as a beacon of hope, certified by the Pakistan Centre of Philanthropy (PCP), adhering to Shariah compliance, and enjoying tax-exempt status as a non-profit organization (NPO). For over three decades, KVTC has tirelessly championed the cause of disability rights, gender equality, quality education, and socio-economic inclusivity in Karachi. Without bias or prejudice, KVTC has served individuals with intellectual challenges, including Down syndrome, autism, learning difficulties, and slow learners, providing vocational rehabilitation free of cost.
Our endeavors encompass not only sports, therapy, and academics but also vocational training accredited by STEVTA and NAVTTC, paving the way for employment opportunities for our beneficiaries. Numerous KVTC alumni are now gainfully employed across various industries, a testament to the efficacy of our programs.
At KVTC, we offer more than just education and training; we provide a nurturing environment where individuals with intellectual challenges discover the true essence of life. Our mission is to unlock the full potential of each individual, enabling them to become self-reliant contributors to society, thereby dismantling the stigma surrounding disabilities. Through comprehensive interventions that involve families, we ensure holistic rehabilitation.
We have launched the 1st ever curriculum in Pakistan for the differently abled that has enabled teaching as per the way these people learn through the individualized educational planning system.
KVTC proudly holds accreditation from the UK Sports Board Trust, making it the sole special education needs (SEN) institute in Pakistan with such recognition. And because of the innovative therapeutic sports program KVTC holds more than 1950 regional, national, and international medals.
KVTC has always believed in being a voice for the differently abled and for this JIDDAT, a home accessories and apparel brand marks a milestone in showcasing the talents of how differently abled individuals can create masterpieces after their rehabilitation. Jiddat advocates and voices talent.
After Jiddat a new culinary venture of KVTC is just round the corner! Café RISE. A café where the entire menu will be prepared by the students of KVTC and how they cater to the guests will also mark as a novel intervention in the rehabilitation of these people.
