Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA): Center for Education and Consciousness, is a Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy-certified and tax-exempt nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing education and social reform. Since its establishment in 2000, ITA has tirelessly worked for 24 years to enhance education quality, promote literacy, and advocate for policy reforms in Pakistan.
Through research, training, and community mobilization, ITA strives to achieve its objectives. Currently, ITA’s focus is on program delivery in Pakistan, encompassing girls’ education, foundational learning, early childhood education, and innovative learning libraries for underprivileged communities and schools, called Kitab and Mahol Gari (Mobile Library).
Under ASER Pakistan, ITA conducts research in eight political constituencies. Additionally, ITA implements a second-chance girls’ education program, Sayani Saheliyan. Pakistan Learning Festival, ITA’s flagship program will soon be celebrate its 100th learning festival in Pakistan, aiming to promote learning beyond the curriculum.
