What Makes Our Approach Distinct
The model promotes inclusive care without discrimination based on gender, caste, colour, creed, or religion, creating a supportive environment that encourages dignity and interfaith harmony.
Its integrated approach brings education, healthcare, therapy, rehabilitation, and life-skills support together under one model. Located in Tharparkar, it also addresses the limited availability of specialized services in underserved communities, helping create equal opportunities and greater independence for children with disabilities.
Impact Stories
When KS first joined the Home for Special Children, he had limited communication and social interaction skills and needed support with basic self-care. Through individual attention, special education, rehabilitation, and regular skill-building activities, he gradually learned to communicate, follow instructions, and become more independent.
Today, KS shows significant progress in communication, learning, self-care, social interaction, and confidence. His journey highlights the impact of consistent, individualized support in helping children with special needs reach their potential.
