For over a century now, Ida Rieu has been providing education and development opportunities to the blind and deaf members of society through its integrated system of academics and vocational training. From early childhood education to graduation and post -graduation, all academic facilities and allied services are provided to students to help them learn, reflect, and think independently. Latest pedagogical approaches, modern technology and assistive devices are employed to overcome their limitations and every effort is made to facilitate inclusivity and social integration.
Over 900 students at the Karachi and Hyderabad-Rashidabad campuses of Ida Rieu Schools are receiving a wide range of free of cost services and facilities including education, books, stationary, uniforms, sports activities, transportations, educational tours, vocational training, health care, hostel accommodation, healthy meals, counselling services, job placements and on boarding. It is through the generosity of the people of Pakistan that we provide these services to our Special children.
Through our engagement with i-care, we are now reaching out to the Pakistani diaspora to partner with us in our journey of empowering and elevating the Special children of Pakistan.
