- A Vocational Skills Development program enables physically handicapped individuals to earn a livelihood while interest-free small loans are provided to enable them to become self-employed.
- PSRD is the largest one window solution in the country for the physically handicapped, especially polio-affected children and children with unfortunate birth defects. Approximately 300,000 children have been treated in this facility since it was established.
PSRD’s operations are largely funded by charitable donations from philanthropic individuals. The Society is now setting up similar facilities in other locations to reach patients who are unable to travel to its main facility in Lahore. To finance this PSRD will be needing additional donations from philanthropists not just within the country but also from well wishers abroad.
