The Second Floor (T2F) is the first project of PeaceNiche. A community space for open dialogue, T2F features a coffeehouse, bookshop, and exhibition gallery. T2F also provides citizens with a platform for social change through rich cultural activities, public discourse, and activism using the new media.
Since its inception T2F has conducted thousands of programs, performances, workshops, seminars, projects on topics ranging from arts and science to politics and ecology and has played an instrumental role in the intellectual and cultural nourishment of Karachi, because of which T2F was presented the 2016 Prince Claus Award in recognition of exceptional achievements in the field of Culture and Development.
Mission:
PeaceNiche mission is to establish and disseminate sustainable models of coexistence through safe spaces for inclusive discourse and the transmission and evolution of culture.
