Over the past 14 years, NOWPDP has worked relentlessly to change society's narrative to have a more accepting attitude towards persons with disabilities (PWD) so they may be treated as equal citizens.
The organization’s current focus is to address the alarming issue of the widespread underrepresentation of PWDs in Pakistan’s National Database, which has resulted in their exclusion from society. This is why Pakistan still does not have clear numbers or statistics on this demographic, and that only exacerbates the issues in terms of resource allocation and underestimates the scope of the problem at hand.
NOWPDP has been working tirelessly to change that with its various projects over the years, including collaborations with the State Bank and influencing policy advocacy to empower persons with disabilities.
However, despite these focused efforts, the overall issue of documentation remains, and to help ensure equitable representation and opportunities for all, NOWPDP is undertaking a project to allocate Special CNICs (SNICs) for persons with disabilities. For that purpose, the organization requests your donations to help them achieve their target of $20,000 to create 1000 such SNICs.
These SNICs will empower individuals with disabilities by giving them access to crucial opportunities through their inclusion within different public and private sector facilities, like more significant healthcare benefits, discounted prices for groceries and essential items for PWDs, scholarships at the primary and higher education levels and subsidized transportation and other related opportunities.
Additionally, the project will help make the typically tedious registration process in Pakistan much more accessible for this community.

Sponsorship Options for Donors:
| S. No | Donation Amount | Number of SCNICs processed |
| 1 | $5000 | 250 SCNICs |
| 2 | $10,000 | 500 SCNICs |
| 3 | $15,000 | 750 SCNICs |
| 4 | $20,000 | 1000 SCNICs |
Looking forward to your support!
