The nation faces a range of adverse impacts, such as frequent severe floods, droughts, heat waves, and extreme weather events. Additionally, Pakistan is grappling with significant environmental challenges, including air and water pollution, deforestation, and the degradation of natural ecosystems.
If we encourage youths from flood-affected areas to study climate change and environmental sciences, we can significantly improve our ability to adapt to and mitigate the effects of climate change. These young men and women can become future champions of sustainable development in their communities, working to develop solutions that mitigate the adverse impacts of climate change and environmental degradation.
Our Mission:
We have embarked on a mission to raise funds for 50 scholarships that will empower the youth from flood-affected areas to pursue higher education and technical skill-based training. Our primary focus is to encourage them to enter the field of climate change and environmental sciences. By doing so, we aim to address two pressing issues simultaneously: i) the adverse impacts of climate change and ii) the cycle of poverty that plagues their families.
